Who Should Attend?
If your certificate is due to expire, you need to conduct a 2-day refresher course to renew your qualification.
This can be taken up to 3 months before the expiry date.
Course Content:
Health & Safety: Understand workplace safety protocols.
Using a First Aid Kit: Learn how to effectively use a First Aid kit.
Incident Management: Be prepared to handle emergencies confidently.
Resuscitation (CPR): For adults.
AED Familiarization: Gain proficiency in using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
Recovery Position: Know how to position an unconscious person safely.
Choking (Adult): Learn life-saving techniques for choking incidents.
Burns & Scalds: Understand first aid for burns and scalds.
Poisoning (including Anaphylaxis): Recognize and respond to poisoning emergencies.
Shock Management: Learn to recognize and manage shock.
Bleeding & Nose Bleeds: Address bleeding situations.
Head Injuries: Learn about head injury assessment and care.
Fractures, Sprains & Strains: Understand musculoskeletal injuries.
Specific Medical Conditions: Heart Attack, Asthma, Diabetes and Seizures.
Course Duration:
- Two Days (12 hours)
Assessment and Certification:
Assessments are conducted by qualified professionals.
Successful delegates receive a certification valid for three years.
